How to build a name for a research institute within the university college world? How to communicate academic substance and depth in a human way? And how to visualize a focus on vulnerable children without stigmatizing and exposing anyone? These were some of the challenges we faced when developing the name, core story and visual identity for the research institute NUBU, which does research in vulnerable children and youth.
